Bobby George owns and operates G-Five Ranch, a fourth-generation cattle ranch in Yampa, Colorado. Under his direction, the ranch raises high-elevation beef. Bobby George has overseen G-Five Ranch since 1998, with responsibilities that include managing employees and operating and fixing equipment.

Mr. George previously owned and operated BG Sheep Shearing. The holder of a CDL license, he also owned a backhoeing business. Through this one-person operation, he dug holes for septic tanks, water lines, and other purposes. He prides himself on his business management skills and for being able to operate any piece of ranching machinery.

Prior to beginning his career, Bobby George graduated from Soroco High School, where he excelled in the Future Farmers of America (FFA) program, serving as the FFA district president in his senior year. In recognition of his accomplishments, which also included serving as district vice president in his junior year, he received the organization’s highest honor, the American FFA degree. He continues to be active with the FFA as an alumnus.
